Hi Colin,
It’s always a pleasure to have a senior member of the community visit us. Your feedback is highly appreciated as I am sure you have much greater insight into your own project and probably into other projects.
I strongly believe the Adempiere integrated with Libero will provide a comprehensive ERP solution for small-medium manufacturing companies that other offerings cannot currently compete with. I can also understand that you still have a lot of work to do with the original Compiere codebase, but like any other software project, it’s all about priorities.
Looking forward to hear more from the Adempiere community.

Thank you or the review of the project. I think they are valid points regarding the websites. Just so you know the “Libero” project, developed by E-Evolution in Mexico, should be integrated in the core application by the next release. You can test it by downloading the nightly build which should be quite stable. Integration was always the intent, but before adding something as complex as a complete manufacturing solution, we elected to concentrated first on stablising the core compiere application; filling the gaps in basic functionality, as well as plugging some serious security holes. I didn’t see any mention of the manufacturing topic for compiere & openbravo… do they have manufacturing modules? I didn’t think so but I admit it’s been a while since I checked.
