Hi tic616,
Nice to know that I am not the only person is this world interested in open source ERP ;) .
I think Sun's move will benefit both Sun, MySQL and the entire open source community, as long as Sun will let MySQL continue evolving as a real open source company.
One of my next posts will discuss possible acquisitions of open source ERP solutions.

I'm glad we are in the same page about Sun getting into the Business Open Source Solutions (ERPs, CRMs, etc.)

As I posted in my blog (Spanish sorry), I'm looking forward for a big IT services company without constraints (as being chained to SAP revenues for instance) to get into the arena of this kind of applications.

It would be great for the industry, and all the customers, that a strong IT services company enter the market to compete with an Open Source ERP. Could you imagine Sun with an OpenBravo complete offering?

I like your blog, as much about the same that mine. I'm suscriber since first entry I read. Congrats!
